Terms and Conditions

1. Students must specify the amount of hours they wish to commit to and pay for them up front.

2. Tuition fees will be paid fully 5 working days before the first lesson is taken. Payments by installments can be arranged for contracts longer than 10 hours.

3. If cancelling or rearranging the date or place of a class which has already been arranged, the client must contact the teacher directly. We require a 48-hour notice of cancellation directly to the teacher. Students who fail to attend or to cancel 48 hours in advance will be charged the full amount. Monday classes must be cancelled by Friday 5pm otherwise the full amount will be charged.

4. Lessons start and finish on the agreed time between teacher and student. If a teacher is delayed due to transport or internet problems, either the time will be made up at the end of the lesson or the lesson will be rescheduled at a time and day convenient for the student. If a student arrives late to a lesson, the teacher may not be able to teach longer than the initial agreed time.

5. Students should consider their personal commitments and circumstances before enrolment. French Workshop regrets that fees are not refundable, unless you cancel the contract 2 full working days before the first lesson of the contract.

6. Students will be required to purchase their own textbook; however, any additional learning material outside the scope of the lessons will be provided by the teacher.
French Workshop will provide a suitably qualified teacher with the adequate level of teaching experience and proficiency for the duration of the contracted course. French Workshop will aim at keeping the same teacher for the duration of the course to maintain continuity, but this might not always be possible.

7. The opinions expressed during the lessons have the sole purpose of illustrating a topic and do not represent the opinion of French Workshop and shall not be taken out of their context.
